Learning. School should start later in life. Its only now I realise that learning is actually amazing.

Isn't it nice to just feel happy?

Sure this island is getting annoying and all I want to do is come home to Wales, there's a real annoying Aussie who's getting on my third breast and the weathers slowly killing me...


...But im really happy. Im content with life.


I think I've matured a lot since being back home. Not that I wasn't before. Just, I dont know...
I've come to appreciate more in life.


Anyway, photo wise... I've found it difficult. Searching for that sense of originality. Its rather difficult. I've bought a tripod, a real cool one and I plan on doing some long exposure jazz soon.


Anyway, hope all my friends are doing well for themselves! Miss you all very much.

Who'd have thought an arid rock could be so beautiful?

The archetecture here is sublime. Over 7000 years of history, can still be seen throughout the 24km x 17km Island that makes up Malta.

Im having fun, learning all sorts of new things. Im especially excited about working towards my PADI diving qualification and learning to drive out here on the crazy roads. Everyone's real nice but annoyingly, I keep meeting people from Caerphilly.

Hahaha!

It suprises me how you really miss the smallest most obscure things. For me, I miss the grass.
Like, I have an obsession. I have to go to Sicily just so I can lie on some grass. Wierd huh?


Well, at the moment im just settling in to my new home, so soon enough, when I know my way around I'll start snapping some shots.


I hope to use some really dramatic colours, especially contrasting between the archetecture and the sky.

Yeah, so i've never really been too fussed with photography. It's always been something i've been too lazy to do.

Hmm, hopefully thats not a reflection on me as a person. Or maybe it is, and now im changing? I don't know. But what I do know is that there's an amazing sense of satisfaction when you take a photo, rush home and crop it and then plonk it on the net and to get tons of feedback.



I've never quite understood why people take pictures of common everyday objects. Shoes... Necklaces... Taps with running water...
I've always tried to be a bit more creative.

I suppose its finding your feet though. I think the myspace generation has bred a lot of lazy people who expect things to fall into their laps.

I'm loving the experience of doing something new, and having people enjoy what is essentially a bit of fun for me. Perhaps it'll develop into something more, but right now, unfortunately I don't think I have the time for it.
